E.
McKinley Fourte', M.D. is a Board-certified family physician
and has completed his training and education in Family
Medicine. His initial experience was performing House Calls.
It was the exposure to House Calls that made him see the
value that this almost-lost art could hold for both patients
and physicians. Taking the idea two-steps further, Dr.
Elliott launched a practice providing House Call Doctors and
a television show "Calling Dr. Elliott" to promote
community health education.
Being
identified as academically gifted at a young age, he has
participated in several programs designed to challenge these
students. The most notable of these programs is
CAHMCP(Chicago Area Health and Medical Careers Program).
Since high school, CAHMCP had an immediate impact on his
development as a young scholar and citizen, providing
activities that would be key to preparation for the many
challenges ahead. His honors include various awards and
recognitions mostly for service, scholarship, and
leadership.
He
was born the ninth and youngest child of William, Jr. and
Doris Fourte'. During his upbringing in Harvey, lL, his
family provided a very loving and academically nurturing
environment. Excellence and preparedness was key to all
family members. His friends and family, especially his
mother, his beautiful wife, Felicia, and his two wonderfully
talented children, remain central in his life. |
